The weekend has been wonderful. We did nothing, nothing and a little bit of extra nothing. It was great... Ok, so actually in this house there is no such thing as NOTHING. There is always SOMETHING going on and in fact on Saturday we had our first split Saturday: Dad took Hannah to her ballet concert dress rehearsal and I took Emma Jo to a birthday party and then went to town to drop off Santa Shoeboxes with Lou...
And later on Saturday night we went along to Hannah's first ever ballet concert. This one was in aid of charity - next week's is just a concert... It was long, and drawn out and very obviously an amateur concert, but it was lovely. And best of all Hannah has the best fun. She was dressed up as a butterfly, wore make up (with lipstick too – BRIGHT red) and had to flit and fly across the stage with a dozen other little butterflies… Not too difficult but lots of fun.
This weekend we (Wuvly and I) managed to finally finalise the new design for the office/playroom as well as the alteration to the current lounge-garden area. And we had a look at including our braai area in our lounge and converting the current living room into a bedroom… Ok, so all of this is going to take a lot of patience, lots of money and lots of work. But at least we have an idea of what we want. AT LAST.
I will be posting pictures of the office as it goes along and finally becomes the working masterpiece we want it to be.
And I can't wait to start scrapping in this new and improved and organised office. I was busy scrapping this afternoon on the dining room table, trying to finish off my pages for next month and had to cart stuff backwards and forwards... Can't wait til it is all in one room. Whoop whoop.
Wanted to share my Wuvly and my chocolate vice... Fox's Chunkie dark chololate cookies... If you get a chance to buy them DO IT! Then hide them from the kids. They are awesome. Expensive and definitely not for children.
Have a great week everyone
