Public holidays and more

Hello

What a great couple of days we have had. Starting last Tuesday (wow - almost a week ago) we had our midnight scrap. The first for this year. It was great and the ladies did a great job of the two projects: a double page and a mini booklet.

Not too sure when the next midnight scrap will be but it won't be too far away - keep posted!!

Since then we have had our 35% sale, and a whole weekend of scrapping. What great weather we had for it. I was fortunate enough to attend the Scrapbook convention at Speir with Tim Holtz. WHAT A GREAT TIME! Not my usual type of scrapping at all but I had a fun fun time with the paints, and inks and grunge. It was awesome. If you get a chance check out his blog http://timholtz.typepad.com/my_weblog/.

So what am I working on now? Well there is the Mother's Day project scheduled for Friday 1 May. We still have places available. We are doing a MOM Bookworm, and the cost of R160 includes everything you will need, and (yes, there is more!!) R80 of the class fee will go to Coins for Catherine - the chairty my daughter is collecting for so her little friend at school can have a cochlear ear implant.

Wendy and I are also working flat out on our weekend away projects. They are coming together very nicely in deed and we are both very excited about the whole weekend. For those of you who didn't book - you'll have to wait and see the pictures!!

Chat to you all this week sometime - its an awesome week being just three days long - so enjoy and relax if you can.

Happy scrapping

Abbie
