Was last week long or was it just me? Think it was the public holiday that threw me. All my contract days were wrong, and well I just couldn't settle into the week... At least it is now finished and well we are in to a new month. May! Sheez. is 2010 in a hurry to be over?
I learnt a very important lesson on Saturday morning - don't carry a bottle of Sprite under your arm (on its side) and your scrapbooking supplies in your hand... the bottle WILL leak!!!
It was a sticky and wet job to learn and yet my album (in the bag) and lots of my stock (also in the bag cos I'm working on a project) was wet... And you know what? Lemonade doesn't dry like water. It leaves a wet sticky streak... Growl!
But it was a lesson learnt.
So what have you been up to? I have been busy this past month, and not just because of the public holidays, which although they are nice cos we get to spend some family time, are also a proverbial pain in the bum cos it put everything out and you are not sure if you are coming or going...
There's plenty happening this next month, so stick around and keep in touch. Over and above my normal classes, I am also going away for a scrapbooking weekend, where I am hoping to teach, and I am teaching at a birthday party for 13 little girls. I am actually very excited about this, as we are making canvas scrapbook pictures. I'll post some pictures of the results.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you this month. Drop me a line on scrapping@heavenlyscrapbooks.co.za.
